On the morning of September 15, 2026, in Hanoi, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, in collaboration with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), held the opening ceremony of the training course "Enhancing governance capacity for effective implementation of sustainable development goals in Vietnam." The program was organized in a hybrid format, connecting the Academy's headquarters in Hanoi with various provincial points and international partner agencies

Opening Ceremony of Course 2 of the "Global Young Business Manager" Program at the Academy of Public Administration and Governance

On the morning of September 14, 2026, in Hanoi, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, in collaboration with the Daewoo Global Management Institute (South Korea), held the opening ceremony for Course 2 of the "Global Young Business Manager" (GYBM) program. The program continues to equip South Korean trainees with knowledge of Vietnam, its working and business environment, culture, and professional skills, while developing their capabilities in adaptability, collaboration, intercultural communication, and working in an international setting. On the morning of September 9, 2026, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance held a scientific seminar titled "Higher Education in the AI Era: Issues, Impacts, and Insights," presented by experts from France and Belgium.

On September 8, 2026, at the Main Hall of the Organization Board of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, a thematic exchange conference titled "Working Regulations and Coordination Mechanism Between the Party Committee Secretary and the Chairman of the Administrative Committee of Capitals, Provinces, Districts, and Cities" was held under the chairmanship of General Vilay Lakhamfong, Member of the Political Bureau and Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the LPRP Central Committee. Following Decision No. 5186-QD/HVCTQGHCM dated September 4, 2026, of the President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Vietnamese expert delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien, President of the Academy, chaired an online working session with the National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG), University of the Philippines, to exchange views and agree on priority activities for implementing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between APAG and the University of the Philippines.

On July 28, 2026, the Campus of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG) in Ho Chi Minh City received and worked with a delegation of leaders from the College of Public Affairs and Policy (COPA), Khon Kaen University, Thailand. This activity was carried out immediately following the online working session between the President of APAG and the Dean of COPA on July 23, 2026, aiming to operationalize the cooperative orientations agreed upon by both sides based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between APAG and Khon Kaen University, which was exchanged under the witness of General Secretary, President To Lam and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul during the high-level visit of the two countries' leaders on May 28, 2026.
