Delivering the keynote and opening speech of the Conference, Ms. Le Thi Tuyet - Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Management and International Cooperation, emphasized that international cooperation in modern higher education is not merely the expansion of academic space, but has become a key driving force for innovation and sustainable development. Looking back on the nearly 70-year journey of construction and development of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, internationalization has always been positioned as one of the most important pillars to improve training quality, promote scientific research, and provide high-quality human resources for the country. Up to now, the Academy has established and maintained a network of strategic partners with many prestigious training institutions, research institutes, and international organizations in the region and around the world.
Ms. Le Thi Tuyet stated that the STRIVE Project is not just a simple international cooperation activity, but also an important opportunity for the Academy to access advanced educational standards, enhance modern university governance capacity, and strongly promote an integration culture. Especially, positioning the development vision to 2030 and vision to 2045, the Academy places its focus on creating an advanced, modern, highly connected, and deeply integrated educational environment. In that roadmap, the Project “Strengthening Internationalization of Vietnamese Emerging Universities - STRIVE” acts as a launchpad bringing the Academy swift access to strict international educational standards. She affirmed that the European Union's (EU) Erasmus+ Programme represents valuable “academic gateways”. This programme not only opens up opportunities for mobility and short-term study but also equips learners with a global mindset, outstanding foreign language proficiency, digital skills, multicultural adaptability, and the confidence to work in a multinational environment.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Master Le Thi Tuyet expressed her sincere thanks to Dr. Felicetta Ripa along with international experts and partners of the STRIVE Project for always accompanying, favoring, and sharing valuable resources with the Academy over the past time.
