Application of ASEAN Seeds for the Future 2024
ASEAN Foundation, in partnership with Huawei, is excited to announce that the applications and nominations for ASEAN Seeds for the Future 2024 are now open!
We warmly welcome interested applicants to apply. We also invite tertiary institutions across the 10 ASEAN Member States (AMS) to nominate aspiring youth with great potential.

Introduction
ASEAN Seeds for the Future is a collaborative programme between ASEAN Foundation and Huawei, aiming to develop digital talent, share knowledge, increase ICT sector awareness and enthusiasm, and foster digital community building.
This year, top selected ASEAN youth will represent the region at the Asia Pacific Seeds for the Future 2024, participating in a one-week immersive digital learning experience in Nanning, Shenzhen, and Dongguan in China, on 22-30 September 2024. During this visit, participants will have the opportunity to join the workshop and showcase their innovative ideas in the Tech4Good competition by collaborating with fellows from other countries. They will also explore China’s digital landscape, gain insights from high-tech companies, delve into their operations, and engage in interactive sessions with industry leaders.
Seeds for the Future is Huawei’s global CSR flagship programme dedicated for students to succeed in the ever-evolving digital era. Since its launch in Thailand in 2008, the programme has benefited more than 18,000 students from 140 countries. To expand its impact to the ASEAN level, the ASEAN Seeds for the Future was initiated in 2022, providing opportunities for ASEAN youth to enhance their skill set and pursue their aspirations.

This agenda is tentative and subject to change.
The programme will cover the costs of visa, flights, accommodation, daily meals, and local transportation in China.

Eligibility Criteria
To join the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria. Those who don’t meet these criteria won’t be considered.
- Be a citizen of an ASEAN Member State (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Viet Nam).
- Be fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Be enrolled in a tertiary education institute located in ASEAN.
- Be committed to learning and personal growth.
- Be passionate about innovation, digitalization, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and/or cross cultural communication in ICT-related fields.
- Be available to complete the online training in August 2024
- Be available to travel to China on 22-30 September 2024
