On the morning of March 8, 2026, on the campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, thousands of 12th-grade students and parents participated in the 2026 Admission Counseling - Career Orientation Festival to find information about universities, majors, and future career opportunities

In that vibrant atmosphere, the admission consultation booth of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG) attracted a large number of students and parents to explore. Not stopping at just providing admission information, many conversations here helped students visualize their future career paths more clearly.

The 2026 university admission information leaflets with detailed information on 22 majors and specializations along with 4 flexible admission methods were handed directly to candidates. This, coupled with direct consultation from lecturers and admission staff, created an open and close exchange atmosphere.

“I want to study a major that can contribute to society”

Nguyen Thu Ha, a 12th-grade student in Hanoi, shared after receiving consultation at the booth: “Previously, I only was only familiar with some familiar majors like law or economics, but when I came to the Academy's booth, I found out there are many majors related to state management, public governance, or political science. These majors help me understand how society operates and can contribute to the community”

Ha said she is particularly interested in the State Management major, because according to her, this field is associated with policy making and serving society. “The consulting teachers were very enthusiastic, clearly explaining the training program, career opportunities, as well as the admission methods. That makes me feel more confident when choosing a major”

“There are many very novel majors here”

Also learning about the Academy for the first time, Tran Minh Quan (a high school student in Bac Ninh) was quite surprised to know that the Academy trains in many different fields. “I was quite impressed to know that the Academy has more than 20 majors and specializations, from law and economics to information systems and human resource management. That shows a very diverse learning environment”

Quan said he is considering the E-commerce Information Systems major, because this is a fast-growing field. “I think studying in an environment that has both a governance foundation and technology will give me many job opportunities in the future”

“I like a learning environment connected to practice”

Meanwhile, Le Phuong Anh, a 12th-grade student in Hanoi, is particularly interested in majors related to culture and communications. “I really like the Culture and Communications specialization because it is attached to creative activities, communication, and cultural promotion. I also learned that the Academy has many practical activities, which makes me very excited.”

Phuong Anh believes that finding out directly at the festival helps her better understand her own career orientation. “Before coming here, I was quite confused, but after listening to the consultation and reading the admission handbook, I have more information to consider”

Parents highly appreciate the dedicated consultation

Not only students, but many parents also paid special attention to the Academy's booth.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, a parent from Hung Yen, said: “I see the teachers consulting very thoroughly, from the majors, admission methods to job opportunities after graduation. This helps parents like us feel more secure when our children choose a school”

Mr. Hung also highly evaluated the Academy's training orientation in the fields of state management and public governance. “These are very necessary fields for society. If my child has a clear orientation, this is a very good learning environment”

“The most important things are the educational environment and job opportunities”

Meanwhile, Mrs. Tran Thi Lan, the parent of a 12th-grade student in Hanoi, believes that choosing a university depends not only on the major but also on the educational environment. “Through research, I know that the Academy has a long tradition in training in administration, management, and public policy. This creates great trust for us parents. Previously, we only knew about the school through some information on the internet. When coming here and directly hearing the teachers introduce the training program, teaching methods, as well as career orientation for students, I feel more reassured” Mrs. Lan shared.

According to her, the most important thing for parents when choosing a school for their children is the learning environment and the potential for development after graduation. “I think every parent wants their child to study in a good environment with a clear career orientation. Through the information consulted today, I see this as an option worth considering”

When the consultation booth becomes a “bridge” for future orientation

According to a representative of the admission consultation board of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, participating in the 2026 Admission Counseling - Career Orientation Festival is an opportunity for the Academy to directly reach out to students and parents, while providing accurate and complete information about the training programs.

Besides direct consultation, the Academy also introduced the 2026 University Admission Information Handbook - a comprehensive guide to important information about training majors, admission methods, learning opportunities, and the student environment.

Through this handbook, candidates can easily look up information and consider choosing a major that suits their abilities as well as their career orientation.

Spreading the image of a prestigious training environment

The attention of students and parents at the consultation booth shows the attraction of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance - a multi-disciplinary higher education institution with the mission of training high-quality human resources in the fields of administration, state management, public governance, and many related fields.

The Admission Counseling - Career Orientation Festival is not only an occasion for students to learn about professions but also an opportunity for the Academy to introduce the learning environment, training programs, and the values that the Academy brings to learners.

With careful preparation and an enthusiastic consulting team, the consultation booth of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance left many positive impressions, contributing to spreading the image of a prestigious, modern educational environment attached to the mission of serving society.
