On November 3, 2025, at APAG Headquarters in Ha Noi, a meeting took place between APAG and the Korean Youth delegation led by Mr. Jee Chang Sun, Director of the Asia Strategic Project Department, Korea Foundation for International Exchange.

Representing the Korean Youth delegation were Mr. Jee Chang Sun, Director of the Asia Strategic Project Department, Korea Foundation for International Exchange, and members of the Korean Youth delegation.
Also attending the meeting was Ms. Ngo Dieu Linh, Deputy Director General of the Department of Youth Affairs and Gender Equality, Ministry of Home Affairs.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien, President of APAG.In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien, President of APAG, expressed his honor in welcoming the Korean Youth delegation led by Mr. Jee Chang Sun to APAG.
He emphasized that Viet Nam and Korea have enjoyed a friendly and comprehensive cooperative relationship for over three decades, particularly in education, culture, youth affairs, and people-to-people exchanges. APAG attaches great importance to international cooperation, considering Korea a reliable strategic partner contributing to promoting training, research, and youth exchange activities.
He expressed his hope that the visit would open up opportunities for exchange, learning, and sharing experiences in areas such as youth development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation in public administration. He believed that through exchange activities, Vietnamese students and Korean youth would gain a deeper understanding of each other’s culture, people, and the spirit of Asian cooperation, jointly working toward a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable Asia.
The meeting focused on key discussions, such as student training and research activities, the APAG governance model, and future cooperation directions between APAG and the Korea Foundation for International Exchange.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien for his attention and support to the exchange programs between the Korea Foundation for International Exchange and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Viet Nam.
He shared his positive impression upon visiting APAG for the first time, noting that he had long been aware of APAG’s reputation and was delighted to have the opportunity to meet and collaborate directly. He remarked that APAG and the Korea Foundation share many similarities in their goals of promoting cooperation, academic exchange, and youth development between the two countries.
In his closing, Mr. Jee Chang Sun emphasized “Where there is water, there is flow” - a metaphor for the stream of friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and Korea that has long been nurtured. He expressed his confidence that this flow will continue to spread strongly in the future, opening new opportunities for connection, sharing, and sustainable development for the youth of both nations.
