The 6th Political Essay Contest on Defending the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2026 is a practical and meaningful activity, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility among officials, Party members, staff, lecturers, trainees, and students in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, while countering and refuting wrongful and hostile viewpoints.
Recognizing participation in the Contest as an important political task directly linked to its functions of training, executive education, scientific research, and policy advisory in administration, public governance, and state management, the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Steering Committee of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance focused on leading and directing the Contest's implementation across all departments and regional branches.

The Contest attracted widespread participation from staff, faculty, students, trainees, and doctoral candidates across the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, with a total of 7,160 entries submitted. This included 6,811 entries from trainees and students, and 349 entries from staff and faculty, with 100% of the Academy's faculty participating. Through selection rounds, the Academy selected 100 exemplary works to submit to the contest at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics level.
In the final round at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics level, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance won the Excellent Collective Award. In individual awards, the Academy's authors earned 2 Prize Bs, 2 Prize Cs, 6 Consolation Awards, and 4 Prospect Awards.
