Academy of Public Administration and Governance: Steadfast Integration, Breakthrough Development in 2026

Joining the HCMA delegation were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hai Binh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice President of HCMA; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vice President of HCMA; Dr. Truong Cong Dac, Standing Deputy Secretary of the HCMA Party Committee; and representatives of leadership from HCMA’s functional units.
Welcoming the delegation on behalf of APAG were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien, President of the Academy; the Vice Presidents: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thanh Cuong, Dr. Nguyen Dang Que, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Suu, Dr. Bui Phuong Dinh, and Dr. Hoang Ngoc Hai; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Executive Committees of the Trade Union, the Youth Union, the Women’s Affairs Committee, and the Veterans’ Association; along with leaders and staff from various departments and units under the Academy.

In the joyful atmosphere of the first days of Spring, on behalf of the HCMA Party Committee and Board of Presidents, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Huan sent his best wishes for health, happiness, solidarity, and victory to all leadership and staff of APAG.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Huan affirmed that in 2025, amidst the context of merger and organizational restructuring, the Academy’s team of cadres and Party members consistently maintained their political mettle, solidarity, and unity. They successfully completed the arrangement of the organizational apparatus, ensured stability, upheld internal consensus, and effectively executed assigned political tasks. He emphasized that this represents not only an organizational change but also a profound transformation in mindset, shifting from administrative management to modern governance, enabling development, and building a service-oriented government. The scale and quality of training have been constantly improved; the Academy’s 2025 enrollment was a resounding success, characterized by high admission scores and student numbers. The fostering of cadres, civil servants, and public employees expanded in both scale and quality, delving deep into public service trends associated with modern and effective national and local governance, and establishing the two-tier local government organizational model. Numerous training programs have achieved quality accreditation, while scientific research, policy consultancy, and international cooperation have increasingly expanded, contributing to affirming the Academy’s prestige and position within the national education, training, and scientific research system.

The Party Committee and the Board of Presidents of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics deeply believe that, with a sense of responsibility, unceasing efforts, and increasingly enhanced professional capacity, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG) will excellently fulfill its assigned tasks, step by step asserting its position as a leading national center for training, fostering, and scientific research in administration, state management, and public governance.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien, President of the APAG, expressed his honor and joy as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Politburo and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, along with the delegation members, visited, encouraged, and extended New Year greetings to all faculty, staff, and employees of the Academy on the occasion of the New Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026. This is not only a source of pride but also a great motivation for the Board of Presidents and the entire team of faculty, staff, and employees of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Presidents, and all faculty, staff, and employees of the Academy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien sincerely thanked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Politburo and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics for their attention and spiritual encouragement to all cadres, faculty, staff, and employees of the Academy. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien expressed his hope that APAG would continue to receive the warm sentiments and close guidance of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, enabling the Academy to achieve strong and breakthrough developmental steps in 2026.

In the spirit of the New Spring, the leaders participated in a tree-planting ceremony within the Academy campus. This practical activity responds to the traditional Tree-planting Festival, contributing to environmental protection and the goal of building a "Green - Clean - Beautiful" Academy, heading toward sustainable development.
