On the morning of February 23, 2026 (the 7th day of the Lunar New Year), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Politburo and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), visited and extended New Year greetings to the faculty and staff of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG). On this occasion, he also participated in a commemorative tree-planting ceremony for the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Huan affirmed that in 2025, amidst the context of merger and organizational restructuring, the Academy’s team of cadres and Party members consistently maintained their political mettle, solidarity, and unity. They successfully completed the arrangement of the organizational apparatus, ensured stability, upheld internal consensus, and effectively executed assigned political tasks. He emphasized that this represents not only an organizational change but also a profound transformation in mindset, shifting from administrative management to modern governance, enabling development, and building a service-oriented government. The scale and quality of training have been constantly improved; the Academy’s 2025 enrollment was a resounding success, characterized by high admission scores and student numbers. The fostering of cadres, civil servants, and public employees expanded in both scale and quality, delving deep into public service trends associated with modern and effective national and local governance, and establishing the two-tier local government organizational model. Numerous training programs have achieved quality accreditation, while scientific research, policy consultancy, and international cooperation have increasingly expanded, contributing to affirming the Academy’s prestige and position within the national education, training, and scientific research system.
